Picksie ("Picksie", "we", "us", or "our") is a mobile application that helps you make everyday decisions with the help of an AI companion. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using Picksie, you agree to the practices described here.
Picksie is intended for users aged 13 and over. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us at picksiedecisionfairy@gmail.com.
We collect only what we need to provide the service:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Picksie relies on a small number of trusted service providers to function. Information is shared with them only to deliver the service, and they are bound by their own privacy and security commitments:

These providers may process data on servers located in the United States or other countries. By using Picksie you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own.
Photos you upload are stored in our secure storage and are sent to our AI provider to analyse the contents and produce a recommendation. Before upload, images are resized on your device. Images are associated with your account and your decision history, and are deleted when you delete the related decision or your account (see Data deletion).
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. Your decision history and uploaded photos remain available to you until you delete them or delete your account. We may retain limited records where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at picksiedecisionfairy@gmail.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, access controls on our database, and authenticated requests. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Picksie is not intended for and may not be used by anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of Picksie after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
